Mandala art facilitates
healing of body, mind and spirit by utilizing expressive art, meditation,
prayer and journaling. This meditative activity is highly effective in
focusing the mind, calming the emotions, and helping participants connect
with their spiritual center. The focus is on process, not product, and
therefore no previous art experience or ability is needed.
Weekly Classes
Participants will work with The Mandala Healing Kit to create mandalas
that help heal the psyche at various levels of mind. Topics covered include:
• Return to Inner Light: A return to inner wholeness.

Love’s Power to Heal: Connecting with the heart.
•
Healing the Mind: Using the power of affirmations.
•
Gifting those in Need: Creating healing for others.
•
Freedom is Letting Go: Letting go of negative patterns.

Return to Center: Living from a centered and inward place.
Participants can easily take this activity home to use with their children.

Healing at Folsom Prison

Mandala Art Healing weekly course
is offered to inmates at Folsom State Prison for healing at the mental,
emotional and spiritual levels of mind. Conducting these
workshops has proven to be a highly
effective in-prison rehabilitation program to provide prisoners with
the tools and life skills necessary to create enduring change.
Started in July 2007 by Vina Parmar, MBA, the Mandala Art Healing Program has
offered weekly classes packed with practical tools for healing. Working
in partnership with Folsom State Prison, these weekly classes focus on
preparing the men to become responsible and
